Ghana:
The University of Ghana is the oldest and largest of the six public Universities in Ghana. It has a current student population of about 29754 students and is situated close to Ghana's capital Accra in the leafy and slightly cooler suburb of Legon. Our cooperating institute at the University of Ghana is the Department of English with particular research foci in the postcolonial literatures, gender studies, African poetry and literature, language and advertising, Ghanian English and varieties of English. Please check the international pages for further information on the university - and note that if you go under the ISAP programme you will be exempt from the admission fees.
