Welcome to the website of the Giessen Geographical Society.

The aim of the GGG is to stimulate and expand geographic knowledge to a broader range of the publicy as well as introducing and elaborating on specific geographic areas of competence. This can be achieved by regularly organizing a series of geographic lectures. Further activities include the publishing of papers, organizing excursions and, in the long term, research grants.
