World Congress of Malacology in Phuket

Every three years the World Congress of Malacology is taking place and invites malacologists throughout the world. This year the congress was held on the island Phuket, in Thailand. Six members of our working group participated and presented their current research in posters and talks. We left Phuket with pleasant memories of the meeting and the beautiful country and – not to forget – with an award for Roland Schultheiß (oral presentation award from Unitas Malacologia) and for Torsten Hauffe (poster award from the Malacological Society of London).
