Fields of interest / focus of work
- Phylogeny, biodiversity, and evolutionary strategies in selected gastropod groups
- Population genetics, phylogeography, infectivity, and coevolution of Oncomelania hupensis (intermediate host of schistosomiasis) in China
- Speciation and radiation of benthic invertebrate groups in ancient lakes
- Phylogeography of selected migrating bird groups in Europe, Australia and South America
