Agricultural research stations and research farms are since more than 100 years part of the Justus Liebig University research infrastructure. Growth chambers, greenhouses, lysimeters, experimental fields and farms of the IFZ and the constituting university faculties represent a key technology platform for agricultural and environmental sciences as well as biology.
