The Vilnius group appointed two early stage researchers from Poland in August 2007, Amelia Owsicka and Marta Kubala.
Amelia stayed in Vilnius until September 2009. Her project centered around "Structure-function relationships of the Ecl18kI restriction enzyme".
Marta only stayed until July 2008. She focussed on "Biochemical and Structural studies of TauI and PfoI restriction endonucleases".
