Why?The aim of the European PhD Workshop 2009 is to promote scientific exchanges between PhD students in economics, business and social sciences where the focus is on agriculture, food, environment, and national and international development issues, and to facilitate formal and informal presentations of young researchers' work to the scientific community and to a wider audience. For whom?The workshop is intended specifically for PhD students of European universities and research centres specialized in agricultural and food economics who are in their second or third year. Other researchers who are interested in discussing scientific studies related to food, agriculture, rural develoment and environmental economics are welcome to attend. Why come?If you are wondering "Why should I come to this workshop?" here are some benefits:
Deadline for submission of abstract is May 15, 2009. ProposalsProposals can be related either to whole research projects or to more specific points of research. Abstracts must include title, name of the author, university or institution affiliation, e-mail address. Abstracts should clearly present: Introduction, Problem statement, Research question, Methodology, (expected) Results, Discussion and Conclusions. The maximum length of each abstract is four A4 pages. You are asked to use Times New Roman font, size 12, and single spacing. Include all figures an tables within the body text of your abstract. Authors will be informed of selection decision by th scientific Committee by June 15, 2009. Final papers are to be submitted by August 15, 2009.
