Dear student, thank you for your interest in spending part of your course of studies at Justus Liebig University.
To help make it easier for you to plan your stay at JLU Giessen, we have put the most important information for you on this homepage, as well as in the ERASMUS Information Booklet. As an ERASMUS student at Justus Liebig University, not only will you be able to profit from our free language courses for ERASMUS students but you can also take advantage of further aspects of the ERASMUS program, such as excursions to historically significant locations in Germany and access to inexpensive accommodation in one of the University's student halls of residence. There is also the opportunity given you individually to explore Giessen and large parts of the State of Hesse by using our 'semester ticket', which gives you free use of public transport between and within the regional cities of Giessen, Frankfurt am Main, Kassel, Darmstadt, Wiesbaden, and Fulda.
