The International University Summer Course at Justus Liebig University has an established reputation, and is the ideal launching-pad for entry into courses of study at Giessen. The program covers intensive courses for learning or brushing-up your German, along with stimulating workshops and excursions. For 20 years now, Giessen’s Summer Course has been providing visitors, undergraduates, doctoral students, and research fellows from across the world with personal service.

At the next level up, Giessen University’s International Summer University offers an interdisciplinary and practically oriented program of study that is constantly updated. Clients on this program – postgraduate researchers, advanced undergraduates, and graduates about to enter the job-market – take part in special seminars and German-language courses (all offering ECTS-points certification), and can also choose from a range of cultural excursions and activities.
