Information for persons applying for DAAD grants
To apply for a DAAD grant, you need to obtain a letter from a professor in your field of specialization at JLU stating willingness to supervise you during your stay at Giessen. This letter of assent must be requested by you and you have to locate potential supervisors at JLU Giessen yourself. It might be a good idea to state your purpose and your academic achievements. We recommend that you check out JLU Giessen’s departmental and faculty homepages, where you will find the email addresses you will need in order to make contact.
If you apply for a DAAD-grant for a Master programme or for a supplementary course of study, you must already be admitted to JLU Giessen. You can find information on how to apply to JLU Giessen here.
