Grant Aid Via BAföG
BAföG (the Federal Law Concerning the Promotion of Education and Training) is primarily there to assist German students.
However, students from foreign universities may come under this law if they meet certain prerequisites. Applications for BAföG grants must be submitted to the Office for the Promotion of Education and Training at German universities, which is located in the Student Affairs building.
As the legal situation governing BAföG undergoes periodic adjustment, it is best for you to direct any queries you might have to Student Affairs at JLU.
