Welcome to Giessen! Justus Liebig University places the highest value on international contacts through research and teaching.
Its eleven faculties, seven research centers, and range of subject areas (of a breadth unique within Germany) make JLU Giessen an ideal platform for international cooperation in learning and research. Each year, our University President personally hosts international researchers from more than 40 countries at the University’s very own chateau at Rauischholzhausen.
