Content

| Household Science is the study of the provision of household services. It considers from a general and interdisciplinary perspective the varied mutual relationships between private households, large households, and other service providers. This includes consideration of social, economic, ecological, political, legal, and technical factors and framework conditions. Household services serve to ensure and improve quality of life. They are provided by private households and service providers (e.g. daycare facilities for children, canteens, hospitals, nursing homes, household-related service agencies).
