Professorship for Agricultural, Food and Environmental Policy
The chair analyses and evaluates national, European and international policies with regards to farm sector, food, and environmental issues and looks at interactions between them. A special focus lies on the implementation of the sustainable development goals of the United Nation and related problems in regard to agricultural production. Teaching focuses on development economics, world food economy and international and European agricultural- and food politics.
The faculty 09 is currently appointing a new professor to the post. On an interims basis, Dr. Anne Biewald will fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
