Profile of the chair
The chair deals with automatic language and text processing on the basis of linguistic processing aiming at analyzing, developing, and optimizing linguistic and text technological systems.
Fields of research are text technological and linguistic methods and applications, the investigation of forms of communication in digital media, as well as computational linguistics basics in the field of morphology, lexicology, syntax, semantics, and computer assisted language learning.
