Dr. Urs Gellrich
Urs studied chemistry at the Albert-Ludwigs University in Freiburg. After receiving his diploma in 2009, he started his PhD studies under the guidance of Prof. Bernhard Breit working in the field of supramolecular ligands. In 2013, Urs graduated and then moved in early 2014 to Israel to join the group of Prof. David Milstein at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot as PostDoc Fellow. The research work focused on the theoretical and experimental examination of various aspects of transition metal catalyzed reactions and novel modes of bond activation.
Since April 2017, Urs is Junior Group Leader at the Justus Liebig University in Gießen.
