Expenses

Regular Program fee: 1.900 Euro.

Program fee if you register until March 31, 2010: 1.500 Euro

ISU Giessen 2010 is funded byfunded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) with financial means from the Federal Foreign Office.

ISU Giessen 2010 is approved and supported by the Hessen Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and the Arts (HMWK).

Further financial subsidies are available.

Qualified participants can be sponsored by financial subsidies towards part of the program fee, living and travel expenses. Please contact the ISU office as soon as possible.

The program fee includes the following:

• seminars (including lecture material)
• study tours
• German language course (including lecture materials)
• accommodation in a student hall of residence (single apartment)
• subsidy towards food and beverages in the university cafeteria (chip-card worth 50 Euro plus discounted student prices)
• whole cultural and leisure program
• health, accident, and liability insurance
• gym membership

The following additional costs might occur:

• travel expenses
• visa costs
• one optional excursion
• deposit for the room in the student hall of residence (90 Euro) (payable upon arrival; will be refunded on departure if the room key is returned and the room is left in a clean state)
• deposit for the Mensa-Card to buy food and beverages at student prices in the university cafeteria (10 Euro) (payable upon arrival; will be refunded on departure upon return of the Mensa-Card)
• all other food and beverages
• personal expenses
