Inventions from people employed at the college must be reported to the president in every case. Inventors have a right to patent any invention made in the context of their research or teaching activities (seminar, lecture, publication) as long as they have shown it to the president two months in advance. If the university uses an invention, it has to announce this. The university will in this case attempt to find a commercial use for it. If income is made during the course of its commercial use, the inventor is entitled to 30% of the profits.
