Members of the SFB 1213 and everybody who is interested
Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Ralph Schermuly from Justus Liebig University will present the project
"Receptor tyrosine kinase signaling driving 'pseudo-malignant' lung vascular remodeling – therapeutic exploitation".
Several growth factors are assumed to contribute to the pro-proliferative, pro-migratory and anti-apoptotic vascular phenotype in pulmonary hypertension (PH), acting via various kinases and phospho-proteins. By kinome/phospho-proteome analysis and immune-phenotyping we aim to reveal aberrant molecular signatures of diseased pulmonary vascular cells, right ventricular cells and peripheral blood mononuclear cells from patients with PH. Our aim is to develop novel kinase focused therapies for treatment of heart and lung diseases.
Everybody who is interested is very welcome to join our seminar series.
The seminars are taking place every second Tuesday from 18:00 - 19:00.
