The Georg-Büchner-Debattierclub, is a mixed group of students from different faculties, who aim for creating a platform on which they can train their rhetorical skills as well in German as in English and practice their free speeches. By studential self-administration they became one out of more than 70 German speaking debating clubs.
If you now think that your way of presentation could get safer, rhetorically refined or if you’re just having fun holding speeches, either in German or in English, you’re welcome to join the debating club.
Every semester they are giving an introductory event for you to get to know the club. Above that you can get started any time. There are no requirements to begin. If you want to know more about the Georg-Büchner-Debattierclub and their debating meetings visit them on Facebook.
