Einweihungsparty GCSC-Neubau | House-Warming Party at the New GCSC Building

Die meisten von Ihnen haben es ja bereits mitbekommen: unser Zentrum ist zum Jahreswechsel umgezogen! Obwohl der Weg von unserem bisherigen Gebäude nicht allzu weit war, bedeutet der Umzug für uns doch einen Quantensprung. Nicht nur finden erstmals alle Doktorand_innen und Mitarbeiter_innen unter einem Dach Platz; der Neubau bietet auch allerhand neue räumliche Möglichkeiten für kollaborative Forschung und Interaktion.

Um diese Möglichkeiten gemeinsam mit uns zu erkunden und das neue Haus richtig „anzuwärmen“, laden wir Sie herzlich zur House-Warming Party ein, die im Anschluss an die offizielle Einweihungsfeier stattfinden wird.

Nach zwei Jahren Pandemie haben wir uns bewusst für ein reduziertes Programm entschieden, bei dem die persönlichen Begegnungen und Gespräche im Vordergrund stehen sollen. Bei Getränken und Snacks wird es u.a. die Möglichkeit zu einem Rundgang geben, darüber hinaus werden wir die Gelegenheit auch für eine Kurzvorstellung des neu etablierten „Research Centre for the Study of Culture“ (RCSC) nutzen. Weitere kleinere Programmpunkte sind nicht ausgeschlossen – lassen Sie sich überraschen.

Most of you will have already noticed: we have moved at the turn of the year! Although the way from our previous building was not too far, the move means a quantum leap for us. Not only are all PhD students and staff under one roof for the first time; our new building also offers all kinds of new spatial possibilities for collaborative research and community interaction.

To explore these possibilities together with us and to really "warm up" our new house, we cordially invite you to the House-Warming Party, which will take place after the official inauguration ceremony.

After two years of Covid-pandemic, we have deliberately decided for a scaled-down program with a focus on personal encounters and conversations. There will be drinks and snacks and the opportunity for a walkabout, and we will also take the opportunity for a short presentation of the newly established "Research Centre for the Study of Culture" (RCSC). Other smaller program items are not excluded - let us surprise you.

We hope and look forward to welcoming as many of you as possible on this occasion!
