Composition of degree programme

This BA programme can be composed of two to three subjects.

The possible 2 combinations are

  • a first major subject (80 CP) and a second major subject (70 CP)
  • a first major subject (80 CP), a first minor subject (40 CP) and a second minor subject (30 CP)

The thesis is always written in the student's first major subject. That means that you also get your Bachelor`s degree in the first major subject.

The table below gives an outline of the major and minor subjects which can be taken as part of the Bachlelor's in History and Culture. Please note that some combination regulations apply in the choice of combined subjects. In principle, a subject cannot be combined with itself. Other restrictions are shown in the table.

Major Subjects

The following subjects can be studied as a major subject, some of them can only be chosen as a second major subject. Of course, you can never take the same subject as 1st and 2nd major. Most major subjects can also be studied in combination with other subjects as 1st or 2nd minor subjects.
