Venue

The Workshop on Financing and Performance of the European rail Sector will take place in Giessen/Germany, about 50 kilometers north of Frankfurt am Main. The Alexander von Humboldt Haus is located on the Philosophikum Campus in the east of the city and can easily be reached by public transport. 

Getting There

From Frankfurt Airport to Giessen Central Railway Station

Take a commuter train to Frankfurt Central Railway Station where you'll have to change to a regional train with direction Kassel, Dillenburg/Siegen or Marburg/Schwalmstadt-Treysa (RE30, RE/RB30/40, RE98/99). Duration: 65-80 minutes.

From Giessen Central Railway Station

Take bus number 10 in direction of "Rathenaustraße". Duration: 22 minutes.

Taxi

A taxi ride from the Railway Station in Giessen to the venue costs about 10 Euro. 

Parking

You'll find a parking lot on the opposite side of the street, about 200m from the venue. The entrance is located near the pedestrian crossing. Parking is free of charge.
