The core courses are in Economics and Business Studies. Students can choose additional courses from related disciplines such as political sciences, law and agricultural studies. The Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Cultural Studies, the Faculty for Agricultural Studies and the Center for International Development and Environmental research (ZEU) at JLU Gießen cooperates with the Major.

 

Courses are taught either in English or German. Good knowledge of German is necessary to complete the coursework.

Students have to attend a seminar offered by one of the participating faculty members. A second seminar is optional. In total, you need 60 ECTS points from the listed courses and the seminar. Selected students will be offered the chance to collaborate in research projects conducted by participating faculty members, on which students can also obtain ECTS points.
