Anthropogeographie und Geographische Entwicklungsforschung Neu

Der Bereich "Anthropogeographie und Geographische Entwicklungsforschung" beschäftigt sich im Bachelor-Studiengang (B.Sc. Geographie) allgemein grundlegend und im darauf aufbauenden Master-Studiengang (M.Sc., Master in "Mensch-Klima-Umwelt") spezialisiert mit den Themenfeldern Bevölkerungsgeographie, Weltbevökerungsentwicklung, geographische Friedens- und Konfliktforschung sowie Entwicklungsforschung. Regionale Schwerpunkte sind die Region Middle East & North Africa (MENA), der Kaukasus und das subsaharische Afrika. Aktuelle Lehrforschungsprojekte beschäftigen sich mit Transformationsprozessen im südlichen Afrika, dem Aufbau von Postbürgerkriegsgesellschaften im Sinne des Environmental Peacebuilding sowie Aspekten des Geotourismus im Kaukasus und Deutschland (Geoparks).
