Abstract: To solve problems of numerical differentiation and summation, a version of the spectral truncation method is proposed, using Jacobi polynomials. It has been proven that this approach allows achieving the highest order of accuracy due to the minimal amount of input information in the form of perturbed values of Fourier-Jacobi coefficients. In addition, the conditions under which the numerical summation problem is stable have been established.
