Abstract:
In this talk we show the asymptotic behaviour for exponential type moments of a multivariate version of a multivariate version of the Baskakov-Schurer operators different from the tensor product construction which, in the univariate case, yields the original operators. By means of the results proved for such moments we establish localization theorems for the partial derivatives of the operators and obtain their asymptotic expansion for functions of exponential growth.
