1st Annual GGL Conference 2008

The First GGL Annual Conference on the Life Sciences was held on: September 30th - October 1st 2008
Higlights included recent results presented by doctoral researchers from all nine research sections of the International Giessen Graduate School for the Life Sciences. The sessions were opened by invited speakers who are experts in their field and set the stage for the talks by doctoral students. For each session 3-6 doctoral researchers presented their work in oral presentations, and new members of the GGL introduced their research projects in a poster session. Prizes were awarded for the best talk, poster and GGL photograph, and the conference ended with a GGL student party. |
