01.02.2026 - Warm Welcome to the New Doctoral Candidate in the Land Use Group
We are pleased to warmly welcome Munguntuul Ulziibaatar to the Land Use Group, who joined us this month.
Munguntuul holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Tsukuba (Japan) and a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from the National University of Mongolia. Her academic background and research experience are strongly rooted in rangeland research and monitoring, with a particular focus on rangeland management, socio-economic analysis, and geospatial data analysis.
Through her work, Munguntuul has developed valuable expertise in integrating ecological and socio-economic perspectives to better understand land-use dynamics and support sustainable land management practices. Her interdisciplinary approach and international academic experience will be a great asset to the group.
We are delighted to have her on board and look forward to her contributions to ongoing and future research within the Land Use Group.
