Specialisation and Focus

Students may supplement their respective core degree programmes by specializing in so-called elective focus areas. This specialization is a voluntary option for students who have a special interest in certain topics.

Both B.A. and M.A. students may supplement their respective core degree programmes by specializing in so-called elective focus areas (Major). This specialization is a voluntary option for students who have a special interest in certain industries and/or particular types of jobs.

Completing an elective focus area will earn students a supplementary certificate reflecting their specialized qualification. As a result, the option to specialize in elective focus areas is more than a way of allowing students to tailor their B.A. or M.A. coursework to their individual strengths and interests. It is also a joint effort by business administration and economics professors to ensure that students' choices enhance their clear positioning in the job market.
