Conference Venue

The conference will take place at Hotel Steinsgarten, a 4-star hotel located close to the city centre of Giessen. It is within walking distance of Giessen railway station (20 minutes' walk) and Giessen city centre (5 minutes' walk).

The hotel has 120 rooms, of which 100 have been booked for the conference (60 single and 40 double rooms for delegates to share). Everybody staying at the hotel may make free use of the Hotel's spa area.

Conference facilities

We have booked three modern conference suites plus a room for poster presentations for the ICAME conference, each equipped with W-LAN. Plenaries will be held in the Aachen/Bremen room (see picture). A map of the conference venue (indicating the location of the registration desk) will soon be available here and will also be included in each conference pack.

Directions

Hotel Steinsgarten is located at Hein-Heckroth-Strasse 20, near the city centre . If you want to take bus No. 2 from the train station, get off at "Berliner Platz" and take a 5-minute walk from there. For directions and an interactive map please click here.
