Accommodation

We would like to encourage conference participants to make use of accommodation on campus, where we have reserved a block of comfortable, air-conditioned, en-suite rooms (US$45/single/night; US$30/double/night; rates per person and including breakfast).

We can also provide very basic shoestring accommodation in students' hostels on campus (US$13.50/single/night; US$9.50/double/night; US$5.50/quadruple/night; all en-suite, no air-condition, but free wireless access; rates per person and excluding breakfast).

Staying on campus will be the most comfortable option for delegates, since we will provide a shuttle service between the campus guest houses and the conference venue. Also, the new university swimming pool is near the guest houses. Details on how to register for accommodation on campus will follow in the second circular towards the end of March.

Note also that all meals except for dinner on Thursday 4 August will be provided for (with the exception of breakfast for those staying in students' hostels; the conference dinner on Friday 5 August will have to be paid seperately).

Those wishing to stay in hotels will find many in nearby East Legon but will have to arrange their own transportation to and from campus. Note that room rates are much higher in East Legon, starting at around US$100/single room/night. Suggested East Legon hotels:
