Master Theses 2023/2024

Dear students!

We still have free places for Master's theses, especially in the topic area of action planning/tool use.
(However, the final topic allocation will not take place until the beginning of the winter semester 2023/24!)
Overall, we offer the following topics:

  • Perception and Action
  • Motor function and cognitive development
  • Cognitive development and face processing
  • Language and face processing
  • Action planning/tool use
  • Social-emotional development and parental stress
On our research pages we have described some of our projects in more detail.

Please contact us if you have any questions or need further information.

You can still apply!

  • Please confirm or decline accepted places by 02.07.2023, so we can report any free places back to the department.
  • From 03 to 08.07.2023 there will be a second round in which remaining places will be offered.

If you are interested, please send us your application (CV, short letter of motivation, transcript of records, certificates, subject preferences and whether you are studying with or without a major) electronically to our department coordinator Katrin von der Decken.

As a rule, we do not conduct interviews in our department. Nevertheless, it is not excluded in principle that we would like to get to know you in a personal interview before awarding a place. Please contact us in any case if you have further questions or need information!

We look forward to receiving your application!
