Programs for School Initiatives
The "Nationwide Initiative for the Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse" brings together a range of measures against child sexual abuse under the slogan “Trau dich!” (Go for it!). The initiative is aimed at children, adolescents, parents, and education professionals. Against the backdrop of preventing sexual abuse, it focuses in particular on children’s rights.
On the Petze Institute’s website, you’ll find offerings for continuing education for teachers and educators, prevention projects, individual case counseling, case supervision, and a prevention exhibition. You’ll also have access to a specialized library and media center.
The Child Protection Association offers professional development for specialists on the topic of "Prevention and Detection of Sexual Abuse", as well as parent-teacher meetings and expert guidance for school classes on topics such as "Violence Against Children".
