Laureen Kuhl is a research assistant at Justus-Liebig-University in Giessen since 2023. She works on the European research project Plan'Eat on sustainable and healthier diets and behavior change. Previously, she successfully completed her studies in nutritional sciences at Justus-Liebig-University. In cooperation with the Research Institute for Plant-Based Nutrition in Biebertal, Laureen Kuhl investigated the environmental impact of different diets of children and adolescents aged 1-18 years in Germany in her master’s thesis. She compared the environmental impact of an omnivorous, vegetarian and vegan diet, focusing on the dimensions of land use and greenhouse gas emissions.
Her research interests include sustainable consumption, plant-based diets, and consumer behavior.
