“See the world through a horse’s eyes?”

Understanding the Sensory Perception of Horses and Experiencing It Firsthand Through VR

Speaker:

Benito Weise

With solid specialist knowledge, clear practical examples, and easy-to-understand explanations, Benito Weise demonstrates how essential a differentiated understanding of horses’ sensory perception is for harmonious and safe interaction between humans and horses—both in training and in everyday handling.

Following a theoretical lecture, participants will have the opportunity to try an innovative VR headset themselves. The technology simulates a horse’s field of vision, allowing participants to experience firsthand how horses—according to current scientific assumptions—perceive perspectives, distances, and movement. A genuine “aha” experience that is guaranteed to open up new perspectives.

Who is this event for?

For anyone who wants to better understand horses—regardless of riding style or level of experience.
