Quintus Immisch recently handed in his Comparative Literature PhD thesis on naked bodies and figurations of nudity in 18th and 19th century literature, while Saskia Schomber submitted her Classics thesis on the narrative aesthetics of late Greek epic, drawing on embodied narrative theory. Both of them will briefly introduce their work and then speak about how they write about bodies/embodiment and/or how these inform their work conceptually/methodologically.

Please register with Paul Kaletsch (634248@soas.ac.uk) to receive a link for the video conference and a text by Vittorio Gallese to get a first impression of cognitive narratology.
