Reviewing academic publications is the perfect way to gain an overview of current disciplinary discussions and debates. Reviewers are also able to position themselves within scientific discourses and attract attention to their own research. As such, writing a review is the ideal starting point for early career researchers’ list of publications.

The course provides the participants with an understanding of the academic review as a genre, scientific writing strategies and first publication experience. The participants will write their own review, discuss it with their peers and receive feedback as well as publish it with KULT_online, the review journal of the GGK/GCSC.

The course will be held in English. The first date is a preparatory meeting, the second and third are feedback sessions for the written reviews.
