// Prof. Dr. Katharina Stornig is the junior profossor for cultural history at Justus Liebig University and the current head of Teaching Centre at GCSC. Previously, she was a research assistant at the Leibniz Institute for European History in Mainz (IEG), a scholarship holder at the Austrian Historical Institute in Rome and a lecturer at the University of Innsbruck. She received her doctorate in 2010 from the European University Institute (EUI) with a dissertation on the experiences and activities of Catholic nuns in colonial contexts in the late 19th and 20th centuries.
