From creating a realistic timeline for a project at the start of your PhD to factoring in part-time work, conference visits, publications, research trips, and buffer times, time management is an important skill to develop as a PhD undertaking a multi-year project. How can you best include dedicated slots of writing time among other tasks? What personal daily structure and routine benefits your progress? What happens if your timeline is disrupted? These are the questions tackled in this workshop after an input on time management methods.
The final part of the workshop will be used to reflect on where you are currently at with your project and dedicate time to develop a timeline for the upcoming months.
The workshop is open to all IPP and GCSC members.
