Mit den Nietzsche-Fellowships fördert die Klassik Stiftung Weimar kreative Projekte in den Bereichen Philosophie, Kultur- und Geisteswissenschaften.
Das Kolleg Friedrich Nietzsche versteht sich als Ort des Innehaltens und Nachdenkens, aber auch des produktiven Diskurses über zeitgenössische und zukunftsweisende Probleme von Mensch und Gesellschaft – und ist dabei ganz im Sinne Nietzsches: multiperspektivisch und kosmopolitisch. Das Nietzsche-Fellowship ermöglicht einen zweimonatigen Aufenthalt in Weimar und soll so eine philosophische, wissenschaftliche oder publizistische Arbeit befördern. Ein Bezug zum Denken Nietzsches ist von Vorteil, aber nicht zwingend. Besonderes Augenmerk liegt auf der Originalität und Zukunftsträchtigkeit des jeweiligen Vorhabens jenseits einengender Forderungen des akademischen Betriebs.

With the Nietzsche Fellowships, the Klassik Stiftung Weimar supports creative projects in the fields of philosophy, cultural studies and the humanities.
The Kolleg Friedrich Nietzsche sees itself as a place of pause and reflection, but also of productive discourse on contemporary and forward-looking problems of man and society - and in doing so is entirely in Nietzsche's spirit: multi-perspective and cosmopolitan. The Nietzsche-Fellowship allows for a two-month stay in Weimar and is intended to promote philosophical, scientific, or journalistic work. A connection to Nietzsche's thought is an advantage, but not mandatory. Particular attention is paid to the originality and future potential of the respective project beyond the constricting demands of the academic establishment.
