„GRENZEN UND RÄUME“

Das internationale Programm „Offene Wissenschaft“ unterstützt Projekte aus Geistes- und Sozialwissenschaften, die für die Veröffentlichung wissenschaftlicher Inhalte digitale Formate (webbasiert oder offline) nutzen und entwickeln. Es fördert Projekte in diversen Entwicklungsphasen, disziplinen- und branchenübergreifende Kooperationen sowie Projektberatung im Bereich Wissenschaftskommunikation. Monographien und Sammelbände in Open Access fallen nicht in den Förderrahmen des Programms.

Der thematische Schwerpunkt dieser Ausschreibung liegt auf „GRENZEN UND RÄUME“. Die geistes- und sozialwissenschaftlichen Projekte können diesbezüglich wirtschaftliche, kulturelle, politische, soziale und historische Aspekte behandeln. Grenze und Raum können also gleichermaßen als physische wie symbolische Kategorien verstanden und entsprechend untersucht werden. Dies kann Prozesse der Transformation, der Be- und Entgrenzung, der Ver- und Enträumlichung oder der Globalisierung genauso betreffen wie Akte der Grenzziehung und damit verbundene Konflikte.

"BOUNDARIES AND SPACES"

The international "Open Science" program supports projects in the humanities and social sciences that use and develop digital formats (web-based or offline) for publishing scientific content. It supports projects in various stages of development, cross-disciplinary and cross-sector collaborations, and project consulting in the field of science communication. Monographs and edited volumes in open access do not fall within the scope of the program.

The thematic focus of this call is on "BORDERS AND SPACES". In this respect, projects in the humanities and social sciences can deal with economic, cultural, political, social and historical aspects. Border and space can thus be understood equally as physical and symbolic categories and studied accordingly. This can concern processes of transformation, of boundary and boundary dissolution, of spatialization and de-spatialization, or of globalization, as well as acts of border demarcation and associated conflicts.
