for Research in Social Sciences, Business, Economics, and Law
- GGS Early Career Researchers -
For the first time and thanks to initiatives by the Dr Herbert Stolzenberg Foundation and the presidential office at Justus Liebig University, the GGS will grant two awards for supporting early career researchers in 2022. Both awards are endowed with €1.500,00 each. They are are meant to acknowledge and reward researchers at the PhD and postdoc level who have stood out for their excellent achievements in research and their outstanding commitments to their respective disciplines.
You can find the call for applications for the award 2022 here.
You can either nominate an early career researcher at the GGS or apply yourself. To apply for yourself, you need to currently be a member of the GGS at either the postdoc or PhD candidate level - or you need to have been a member at either of those levels sometime in the past two years. The achievement to be awarded must also have taken place during this period and at JLU Giessen.
The application & nomination phase ended on February 28, 2022.
The next call for applications is expected to be issued at the end of 2023.
The award ceremony for the Dr Herbert Stolzenberg Award will take place on June 2, 2022 as part of the GGS Summer Event. The award winners will be contacted by us in May. The GGS would like to thank all nominees and applicants for their outstanding submissions.
