Informational Self-Determination


Informational self-determination is the right of the individual, recognised by the Federal Constitutional Court in view of the development of electronic data processing as an outflow of the general right of personality and human dignity, to decide in principle about the collection, storage, use and disclosure of his or her personal data. (Duden Recht A-Z.
