Adobe Acrobat Pro DC Authentication
Step-by-step illustrated instructions for using your personal Adobe Acrobat Pro DC license.
Start Acrobat Pro DC
After completing the installation, start Acrobat Pro DC on your computer.
The following login window should now appear. Please enter the email address for which the license was issued.
This is usually the full JLU email address (without abbreviations).
Select Account (Optional Step)
Users who have previously worked with other Adobe accounts will see the following selection option.
Please always select the option "Enterprise ID (Unternehmens- oder Bildungseinrichtungskonto)."
If another selection appears after clicking "Enterprise ID," please select the following option (do not be confused by the "LRZ" label).
Verify Identity (Optional Step)
This optional security check may appear in the next step. If it does, it will occur only once and not during every login process.
You will receive a six-digit code via email at your university email address, which you must enter in the next step. If this optional intermediate step does not appear, you will be taken directly to the password entry screen.
Verification Email from Adobe (Optional Step)
Note: Delivery of this email from Adobe may take a few minutes.
Enter Verification Code (Optional Step)
Enter the six-digit code from Adobe's verification email into the input window.
Enter Password
Finally, enter the Adobe Enterprise ID password you set yourself.
If you no longer remember this password, please use the "Reset Password" option at the bottom of the input window.
Note: If you see a message stating that you can only use a trial version after signing in, you may have accidentally not selected "Enterprise ID (Unternehmens- oder Bildungseinrichtungskonto)." (Company or School Account) Please check this option first.
If you encounter additional steps or difficulties requiring assistance, please send an email to software-manage.
