Broadening the Score of Trans* Representation: Desire Communities in Spanish TV Series

On June 30 2021 at 16:15 member of the section Danae Gallo González will hold a presentation about "Broadening the Score of Trans* Representation: Desire Communities in Spanish TV Series" within Greta Olsons lecture "Trans Representations". 

Danae Gallo González will speak about the importance of broadening trans* representations beyond US depictions. Using the concept of "desire communities" by Mauro Cabrals, she will analyse the representations of trans* persons in a case study of spanish TV series. 

The lecture will be held in english.
