Human Resource Development Structures at JLU

Structures Text

The main agents in Human Resource Development at JLU are the employees themselves. In cooperation with their supervisors, they identify development potentials, set development goals and then pursue them proactively. The supervisors back the developmental process by acting as advisors and trainers. Additionally, the Department of Human Resource Development of the university relies on different institutionalized Human Resource Development structures. These differ in the extent to which they offer measures across target groups and various organizational units. All institutions provide advice on their services; this often takes place at special advice and contact points (i.e. Department of Human Resource Development, Graduate Centers, Office for Equal Opportunities, Competence Center for University Didactics).
