Postdoc Fund

Postdoc Fund Text

The PCMO seeks to support postdocs at Justus Liebig University Giessen in sharing current scientific findings with their scientific community, extending and strengthening their network, and expanding their qualifications within and beyond their discipline. We therefore grant financial support to attend scientific conferences and make use of external training or consultation. The decisive factor for funding is the benefit for the applicant’s scientific career development as well as the fit with his/her current or future research and career profile.

Please note that only essential work trips will be permitted by the university. Should you decide to apply for funding anyway please submit the approval by the university along with your application. For further information please refer to: https://www.uni-giessen.de/coronavirus/faq/faqen#travelling
