Current Research Projects and Groups

JLU sees itself as a medium-sized 'differentiated' university with a clear commitment to maintaining its wide spectrum of study fields, developing its profile in individual, excellent - and application-oriented - research fields, and dynamically filling in emerging fields. The strength of external funding at JLU includes a multitude of individual research projects and numerous large collaborative projects that are often conducted in collaboration with strong regional, national, and international partners. At the same time, these coordinated projects are proof of the outstanding interconnectedness of JLU.
