Application process
An application for funding through the Early Career Researcher Grant should be addressed to the Vice President of Research and can be submitted to the Science Support team at the Research Staff Division at any time. The application consists of the following parts:
- Project description: details of the planned research project with clear objectives, a generally understandable description of the work program for the period of support, a statement on career effectiveness, a financial plan.
- Attachments: Curriculum vitae in tabular form, project-and topic related list of publications, statement by the applicant on compliance with good scientific practice, statement by the superior professorship/director of institute with a confirmation that the infrastructure of the professorship/institute can be used to carry out the planned work.
For your application we kindly ask you to use the template and send a pdf copy to the Science Support team at the Staff Office for Research (forschung@uni-giessen.de) via the corresponding dean's office in CC. The application can be written in German or English.
